Who we are: Gravitas Juris, a law firm based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.
Data we collect: Name; contact (email, phone, address); case details; billing info; IP and device data; cookies.
Why we collect it: To provide legal advice, manage matters, bill clients, and comply with legal obligations.
Lawful basis: Consent for strategical informaation and client on boarding;
legal/contractual necessity for case work and compliance.
Retention: Personal data retained only as long as necessary for the purpose; case files and backups retained per legal/ethical obligations; system logs retained for 180 days to meet CERT‑In/IT Act requirements.
- Security: We use TLS 1.2+ for transit and AES‑256 for data at rest; role‑based access and MFA for staff.
- Your rights: Access, correction, portability, objection, restriction, and erasure subject to legal exceptions.
- Breach: We will notify CERT‑In within 6 hours of awareness where applicable and the Data Protection Board and affected individuals without delay (detailed report within 72 hours) as required by DPDP.

Acknowledgement timeline: We will acknowledge all privacy/grievance requests within 24 hours and aim to resolve within 15 business days (or sooner where DPDP prescribes). For data‑breach queries we follow CERT‑In and DPDP timelines and will provide updates as investigations progress.
